Are you in search of a beautiful holiday home in a peaceful rural setting? We present to you ‘Daalders Plekje’, just outside a little village in the north of the Netherlands, called Oosterhesselen. The enclosed garden is 1200 m2 and gives you a lot of privacy in a small holiday park with ten cottages, which is situated in a small wood. The farmland is all around and allows you to enjoy both sunrise and sundown. A 500 meter walk brings you to the beautiful historical farmers’ village of Gees, but also to the bakery and grocery in Oosterhesselen. The woods of Gees (1600 ha) offer an excellent opportunity for walking, biking or horse-riding. A great advantage for sauna-lovers is the well-equipped and well-known sauna in Oosterhesselerbrug, only a 5 minute drive away.
Places of interest
The famous zoo of Emmen is a 15 kilometre drive and within an hour’s drive you will find the charming university town of Groningen. Famous place of interest: the most high-profile museum in the Netherlands, the Groninger Museum. The most famous monument is the Martini Tower, which has overlooked the historical city for over five hundred years. It has a great and big shopping area and beautiful old and new architecture. A day-trip to Amsterdam is also possible: it is only two hours by car. The same goes for the historic cities Oldenburg and Osnabrück in Germany.
